Basic Information

Accommodation:
During the Manaslu Base Camp Trek includes a hotel on the cost. In Kathmandu, we provide a 3-star hotel with twin-sharing B/B rooms, but in Kathmandu, clients must take their lunch and dinner by themselves. During the trek, we provide guest houses with twin-sharing beds and three meals a day. However, as per our company policy, there will be an additional fee for a single supplement if someone wants a single room or tent.

Food:
In Kathmandu your breakfast is included in the cost, but lunch and dinner are not included, which you have to take care of by yourself After Kathmandu, the entire trekking period will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two times (morning and evening) tea or coffee. Also, if you let us know in advance if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free, we can make accommodations as you require.

Guides and Porters:
Your safety is our top priority, which is why we only use trekking guides who are government-licensed and have extensive expertise in the field. All of our trekking guides have a lot of experience, are excellent with people, and speak English fluently. Our guide and staff are much more dedicated to making your trek successful in Nepal. Our guides will assist you if you run into any difficulties while trekking. Depending on the size of the group during trekking, there will be one guide and one assistant guide if there are more than four people in the group. Every two clients will have a porter to help them carry their luggage.

Fitness:
Trekking in Nepal is considerably more adventurous because of the high Himalayas. Additionally, the Manaslu Base Camp Trek is a strenuous pass trek, so your physical and mental health should be in good shape. After deciding on a journey in Nepal, we advise that you begin a morning routine of running and walking for at least an hour each day. You can also engage in frequent indoor or outdoor climbing, day hikes once a week, and other physical fitness pursuits.

Acclimatization/Experience:
In the high Himalayas, it is necessary to let our bodies sufficiently get used to the altitude. Our trip has acclimatization days built into the itinerary. It is best to take it slowly to prevent altitude sickness. On average, expect to walk an average of 5 to 6 hours per day during the trek.

Travel Insurance:
Before undertaking the Manaslu Base Camp Trek, we highly advise purchasing travel and Search and rescue insurance. Although we try our best to look after you, unexpected things sometimes happen. It is best to obtain insurance in case of a medical emergency necessitating a helicopter evacuation. Make sure your insurance covers mishaps overseas and at altitude. Our business will provide accident and rescue insurance for our porters, employees, and Trekking guides.
